PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project focused on the redevelopment of a collection of brownfield sites in Cambridge, Ontario. The project included a detail design along with a scaled model to better express our proposal.

Our plan focused on adaptive reuse, sustainable design as well as maintaining the industrial heritage and existing sense of place. Our plan re-connected and intensified the site's existing industry, art and innovation. The industrial character of the site was respected and recognized through the provision of space for existing and new industrial uses to flourish, preservation of rail features, and creation of public spaces which display the site's historic past.
