TRANSIT-ORIENTED DESIGN
THE MEZZO

PROJECT TITLE:
The Mezzo (Can-Amera Station)
PROJECT DATE:
2018
PROJECT TEAM:
Afshar, Y.
Glass, C.
Helmers, A.
Watchorn, D.
Wong, E.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project was a transit-oriented design initiated by the proposed LRT in Cambridge, Ontario. This project was unique in that there was a desire to increase density while respecting the existing natural spaces. Challenges such as contaminated land as well as existing wide and busy roads required creative thinking to allow a balance between the increased density, natural space and transportation demand.
TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT
